Dead Island 2 pushed back to 2016

Dead Island publisher Deep Silver has delayed the open-world zombie-slaying game to 2016, the company announced today on the franchise's Twitter account.

"We have always set ourselves a big goal for Dead Island 2: to create the sequel that takes Dead Island to the next level," said Deep Silver in a Twitlonger post. "We have been looking at the game long and hard, and we have decided we didn't reach that goal we set out to achieve quite yet. This is why we have decided to delay Dead Island 2 to 2016."

Deep Silver announced Dead Island 2 during Sony's E3 2014 press briefing, and said at the time that it planned to release the game in spring 2015. Last month, Deep Silver delayed another one of its big 2015 games, Homefront: The Revolution, into next year.

"Right now we are focusing purely on development, and we will have more info to share at a later stage," Deep Silver said today. "We know that our fans will be disappointed by this news, but by giving Dead Island 2 more time we are confident that everyone will get a better game to play as a result."

Dead Island 2 will be the fifth entry in Deep Silver's Dead Island franchise, and the first to be made by Yager Development, the studio behind Spec Ops: The Line and the upcoming Dreadnought. Dead Island 2 is in development on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.

Dead Island for charity?!

Do you like helping charities? Do you like Dead Island? Do you happen to need a 20 foot shipping container? Well then you're in luck!! The creators of Dead Island Deep Silver are doing a charity auction over on eBay! starting at $736.31 us. DESCRIPTION BELOW

Up for charity auction is this unique one off 20ft container!
We purchased this container last year and turned it into an escape the room quiz to promote a new video game. We no longer need it so we are selling the container exactly as it is.

DESCRIPTION

Externally the container has small holes in the side and front door where the TV’s were mounted. The panel at the back of the container (Opposite end to the double doors) has a 600x800x600 hole cut into it with a wooden door. This was where a box was built to house a generator to run the electrics for the game. (Generator is not included)

It has its own front door, desk, lights, draws, bed and other cool stuff! It can be used as a portable office. You could even have a lay down when work gets too tough or ponder over your days achievements as you lean against the fireplace surround.

Some of the items such as the timer, encyclopaedias and TV’s were rented so will not be included in the sale. If you are unsure please message us first to check. Never assume, that just makes an ass out of you and me!

· Use it to ship your items all over the world! (sale does not include ship or world)

· Place it on a building site and do office stuff whilst everyone else does the real work

· Place it in your garden and use it as an awesome massive shed!

· Put it on a nice street and tell everyone you’ve got yourself a new pad in posh town!

Our container has been filled with various celebrity’s including the lovely Lucy Collette (she laid on our bed!), the cast from TOWIE, Dane Bowers, Scott Robinson, Damien O’brien, Chucky Venn from EastEnders and many more! You too could join this elite group who have ventured inside this stunning container!

If you look closely you can still see Dane Bowers footprints on our plush carpet, but I don’t want to be buggin you about stuff like that!

CHARITY

We're a nice bunch here so all the money you spend on this container will be donated by us to the Special Effect charity which you can find out more about here. http://www.specialeffect.org.uk/

IMPORTANT STUFF
As you can see from the images the container has electrics in that are NOT certified. If you wish to use them it will be your own responsibility to check that they are safe to use and we hold no responsibility for them.
