In fact Sony Interactive Entertainment America president Shawn Layden was the one and only person to appear on stage at tonight's event. And he wasn't on stage for long. He offered very little. He basically introduced a long sequence of video previews at the beginning and then said his goodbyes at the end.

Insomniac Games' Spider-Man PS4 game, seemingly simply called Marvel Spider-Man, will be released in 2018, and will feature Ultimate Spider-Man, Miles Morales as well as Peter Parker. It's available for preorder now. And that was it.
