Assassin's Creed IV writer Darby McDevitt explains that Aveline's content is "not directly related to the end of her story. If Assassin’s Creed IV is like a novel, Aveline’s missions are like a short story.” Assassin's Creed III: Liberation's writer, Jill Murray, will write the brief epilogue, which is set many years after the end of the Vita spinoff. She still uses her trusty blow darts, and her double flintlock-pistols suggest she, like Edward Kenway, has picked up on the value of dual-wielding weapons.
McDevitt explains that this is possible due to the features of the infamous Animus device, which allows characters to retrieve the memories of historical people. Who knows? Maybe we'll see the new assassin from the upcoming Brahman comic appear. We already know Black Flag will have DLC with yet another new assassin.
So tell us what you think, Will you buy the a PlayStation version to see more of Aveline?
