Infinity Blade 3

Chair Entertainment brings its popular trilogy of mobile games to an end on September 18 with the release of Infinity Blade III in the iOS App Store. That’s two days shy of the iPhone 5S’s September 20 launch, and you can expect the game to be optimized for the new phone’s more powerful A7 processor.

Infinity Blade III tweaks the series’ swipe-driven fighting in a number of small ways, starting with the introduction of a second playable character - Infinity Blade II‘s Isa – to join series star Siris on his journey. Siris and Isa have separate level progressions and item inventories for players to build up, and each employs different fighting styles.

The world of Infinity Blade III is larger than those of the previous two games as well, with the story spilling across eight different environments, all of which are accessible from a central hub called The Hideout. Here, players will be able to kick off quests – including the asynchronous ClashMobs multiplayer mode – fuse gems, cook potions, and re-forge mastered items. That last item is a new feature wherein players will be able to reset the level on a particular piece of gear so XP can be earned for it again; more details will be revealed on that “soon,” Chair says.

The $7 game will run on devices as old as the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4/iPod Touch 4, but to take advantage of its 64-bit graphics – the first such iOS game, FYI – you’ll need a 5S.

That's right Infinity Blade 3 Is coming out 9/18/13 so just under a week away! but until then enjoy the Infinity Blade III Reborn Trailer
