PlayStation 4 release date

PlayStation 4 will release on November 29th, 2013 in Europe and November 15 in the US and Canada. Revealed during Sony's Gamescom 2013 press conference, the $400 next-gen console's date will compete with Microsoft's November release window for Xbox One.
PlayStation 4 has already surpassed 1 million pre-orders worldwide. It will launch in 32 countries.
You can pre-order the PlayStation 4 now.

New Game Plan, For ps4 and ps3

Today at Sony's Gamescom 2013 press conference, Sony announced that gamers that buy Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV, Call of Duty: Ghosts, or Watchdogs on Playstation 3 will be able to buy the digital version for Playstation 4 for a "significantly discounted price" once it becomes available, presumably when the PS4 launches on November 15 in North America.

Although not stated explicitly, this program seems to be a direct response to GameStop's promotion that allows gamers to trade in their current-gen versions of games to get them on next-gen for just $10 more.
EA, Activision, Ubisoft and Warner Bros. were named as partners in this program. Presumably more games will be announced as part of this digital upgrade program in the coming weeks.

Twitch announced for the playstation 3 and 4

Twitch announced today that the streaming service will definitely be coming to Sony's PlayStation 4 console this fall.

After linking their consoles to Twitch, players will simply need to press the Share button on the PS4 controller to upload gameplay. If players prefer to spectate instead of uploading their own footage, an app will be available on the console for that as well.
Twitch confirmed at E3 that Xbox One will utilize its streaming service as well, meaning both upcoming consoles will be equipped with streaming options.

Release date for the PS4!? Reed below

Gamescom is now only 9 days away, and as usual big announcements are in-store. Sony in particular takes the show very seriously, and has a history of announcing price drops, new titles, and even new features at the yearly show hosted in Cologne, Germany. It appears this year will be no different.
The Sony XDev Europe account posted the following on Twitter:
Looking forward to Gamescom in 2 weeks and some of the fantastic announcements we have and working with @PlayStationEU @PSAccess
Not long ago Sony revealed the schedule for its press conference at the show and even made it clear that time would be spent showing PS4 games. It isn't certain whether or not new games for the upcoming console will be announced, but rumblings around the internet make it appear that Sony still has plenty of new information announced. At the very least a finalized release date for the PS4 will be revealed.
Outside of next-gen, a PS3 and/or Vita price drop may be the cards. The PS3 still hasn't hit the golden price of $199.99 which could help propel it to the 100 million units sold milestone. There's even a rumor that the PS4 will be bundled with the Vita for $499.99.
Whatever Sony decides to do, it will be official come August 20th.
