Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition Confirmed!

Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition Confirmed!

2K and Gearbox have confirmed that a Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition will launch on October 8th in North America and October 11th internationally.

The set will be available on all platforms and, as a leak earlier this week suggested, will include more than $100 worth of content for $59.99.

The Game of the Year Edition includes a copy of the main game and all four campaign add-ons (Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep) as well as both added classes (Gaige the Mechromancer and Krieg the Psycho).

The Last of Us’ New Multiplayer Mode

The new mode – called Interrogation – will come with patch 1.03, meaning the mode will be available completely free of charge.

Interrogation mode is "complicated," according to multiplayer designer Robert Ryan, but the crux of the mode is this: find and raid your opponents’ safe by interrogating fallen players via special executions. Your team must collectively interrogate five opponents to find the location of their lockbox, and interrogations take quite a bit longer than a special execution, leaving you susceptible to attack.

Interrogation comes in two waves – collecting information and then cracking the enemy safe – and you can only do the latter task by successfully completing the former task.

Patch 1.03 also comes with five significant fixes, listed below.
When reviving a teammate, your range has been increased.
Item bin locations have been rebalanced in some places.
Special executions can now be halted by teammates.
Matchmaking has been improved.
Item spawns have been tweaked to not give teams too many items.

Nintendo 2DS

Nintendo announced the 2DS, a new entry-level handheld system. The 2DS will be available in North America for $129.99 on October 12th (the same day as Pokemon X and Y) and features a slate-like design rather than the clamshell seen on DS and 3DS models. The 2DS will be available in UK/Europe (estimated £109.99) and Australia/NZ (AUD$149.95/NZD$179.95) on October 12th also.

The 2DS is fully compatible with all 3DS and DS games but does not include the ability to display games in 3D. It still features all the functionality of 3DS (WiFi, local multiplayer, etc.) and can be put to sleep using a slider that replicates closing the clamshell on a standard 3DS. WiFi can still be turned off, though it’s done via controls in the software rather than with a physical switch.

Warcraft Movie to Start Filming in January 2014?

After years of turbulent production, it seems that the Warcraft movie is finally set to become a reality as Legendary Pictures has apparently scheduled filming to begin on January 13, 2014 in Vancouver.

Production Weekly has tweeted (via Collider) that the studio has already set up offices in preparation of the shoot, which will be a relief to Blizzard and fantasy fans alike, many of whom were losing faith that the movie would ever materialise.

Saints Row 4 Sells 1 Million Units, Gets Presidential DLC

Saints Row IV has sold more than one million units in just a week's time, and its first two downloadable content packs are now available, Deep Silver has announced.

The game was released in North America on August 20 and in Europe on August 23. The one-million-units-sold mark is the number of copies Deep Silver says the game has sold through, rather than the number of copies that have been shipped to retailers, which is often the figure that publishers share in the wake of a game's launch. The publisher also noted the PC version has sold particularly well in the first week, more than tripling sales of Saints Row: The Third on PC during its first week of availability.

Reaper of Souls expansion coming to consoles...

In an interview with Polygon over the weekend,
"Diablo III" director Josh Mosqueira intimated that the recently announced "Reaper of Souls" expansions could eventually come to consoles.

"Our philosophy has always been we work on one project at a time," he said. "We've got 'Diablo III' on PC awesome, we released it, and then a small team splintered off to work on 'Diablo' for the current consoles. Now the team's really focused on 'Reaper of Souls' for PC."

"So if you look at the past, you can probably infer what the future might bring. We don't have any announcements at this point."

This isn't an announcement for a console version of "Reaper of Souls," obviously, but it's hard to imagine Blizzard not bringing the new content to an imminently expanding audience eventually. With that being said, release dates for "Reaper of Souls" -- on the PC or otherwise -- are still up in the air.

One thing I do know is the console version comes out in only 8 days. 9/3/13

Add me on the psn (sk8rickyb) if you are down to "Go to hell" with Diablo III

Microsoft has today announced that its CEO Steve Ballmer is retiring his position

Microsoft has today announced that its CEO Steve Ballmer is retiring his position within the next 12 months.

He will stay on with the tech firm until his replacement is hired.
“There is never a perfect time for this type of transition, but now is the right time,” Ballmer is quoted as saying. “We have embarked on a new strategy with a new organization and we have an amazing Senior Leadership Team. My original thoughts on timing would have had my retirement happen in the middle of our company’s transformation to a devices and services company. We need a CEO who will be here longer term for this new direction.”

Ballmer has been with Microsoft since 1980, and was the first business manager hired by Bill Gates in the company's fledgling years. He was named CEO in 2000 and helped to usher in the Xbox era when the company entered the games console business in 2001.
Recently, Ballmer has been overseeing the Xbox business at Microsoft, following former head Don Mattrick's departure to join Zynga in July. Wow what are your thoughts on this TgT family?#Microsoft

PlayStation 4 release date

PlayStation 4 will release on November 29th, 2013 in Europe and November 15 in the US and Canada. Revealed during Sony's Gamescom 2013 press conference, the $400 next-gen console's date will compete with Microsoft's November release window for Xbox One.
PlayStation 4 has already surpassed 1 million pre-orders worldwide. It will launch in 32 countries.
You can pre-order the PlayStation 4 now.

New Game Plan, For ps4 and ps3

Today at Sony's Gamescom 2013 press conference, Sony announced that gamers that buy Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV, Call of Duty: Ghosts, or Watchdogs on Playstation 3 will be able to buy the digital version for Playstation 4 for a "significantly discounted price" once it becomes available, presumably when the PS4 launches on November 15 in North America.

Although not stated explicitly, this program seems to be a direct response to GameStop's promotion that allows gamers to trade in their current-gen versions of games to get them on next-gen for just $10 more.
EA, Activision, Ubisoft and Warner Bros. were named as partners in this program. Presumably more games will be announced as part of this digital upgrade program in the coming weeks.

Minecraft!! is coming to PlayStation 4

Sony has announced that Mojang's Minecraft!! is coming to PlayStation 4 at launch! November                                                                                    15th

Twitch announced today that the streaming service will definitely be coming to Sony's PlayStation 4 console this fall.

After linking their consoles to Twitch, players will simply need to press the Share button on the PS4 controller to upload gameplay. If players prefer to spectate instead of uploading their own footage, an app will be available on the console for that as well.
Twitch confirmed at E3 that Xbox One will utilize its streaming service as well, meaning both upcoming consoles will be equipped with streaming options.

Is Call of Duty: Ghosts Coming to PlayStation Vita?

Call of duty game may be coming to the PS Vita?!

Activision and Sony have yet to make a formal announcement, but Call of Duty: Ghosts could be coming to PlayStation Vita if a GameStop Spain slip-up is any indication.

TheSixthAxis spotted a listing for a Vita version of Ghosts, which has since been removed. Activision's Dan Amrich says this is purely the work of an "over excited retailer." I guess we will find in the next couple of days at GamesCom

Grand Theft Auto V DLC Region-Locked

Grand Theft Auto V will be getting post-launch DLC, though Rockstar has warned fans it will be region-locked!.

A post on the Rockstar Support page advises fans against buying discs from other regions as it will result in issues when pre-order bonuses and DLC come to be played.

"It is generally recommended that you buy and play games that are designated for your country to avoid potential problems with DLC region-compatibility," it reads. "For example, a North American PS3 GTAV disc (BLUS31156 code on spine of box), Japanese PS3 GTAV disc (BLJM61019 code on the spine of the box) or Asian PS3 disc (BLAS 50639 code on spine of box for Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan. BLKS20442 for Korea) will play on a European PlayStation®3 console.

"However, if you live in Europe (where the GTAV disc code is BLES01807) you will likely have a European PSN account that will not be able to redeem a US pre-order code, and will only be able to download Region 2 (European) DLC, incompatible with non-European discs

WWE 2K14 Lets Players Reenact Wrestlemania's Greatest Matches!

The latest title in the annual WWE video game series will include a new mode allowing players to participate in some of the most memorable matches from the history of Wrestlemania.

Following up on the success of the single-player Attitude Era mode in WWE '13, which focused on the greatest moments from the WWE's acclaimed run in the late '90s,

WWE 2K14's single-player mode will expand the amount of history it covers with its new 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode.

In it, players will have the opportunity to play out more than 45 matches from three decades' worth of Wrestlemanias, wrestling's biggest event every year. This idea may sound familiar to fans of wrestling games

WWE Legends of Wrestlemania, released in 2009, also allowed players to take part in many of the prominent matches from Wrestlemanias past. The major difference, aside from being able to pull matches from a few more years of Wrestlemanias, is that 30 Years of Wrestlemania will be played out in the same style of gameplay as the rest of WWE 2K14. Legends of Wrestlemania, on the other hand, had a simpler style of gameplay that relied on quick-time events and a streamlined control scheme.

Exploring the RPG elements of The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

Exploring the RPG elements of The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

So in a recent blog post by James Clarendon, Lead Systems Designer on The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.

He gave us some insight into how these (New RPG) systems work!
As field agent William Carter, you take the role of squad commander, making important choices as to how you and your agents progress in their careers and achieve certain victory. Bringing low-ranking agents into a mission can easily spell disaster, so you've got to take the time to invest in and develop each squad member for the challenges ahead.

First, the basics: you can keep a roster of eight agents!.

There are four classes in The Bureau, each with unique capabilities:

1. Commando – hits hard and uses direct abilities.

2. Engineer – deploys traps; the lynchpin of tactical combat.

3. Recon – eagle-eyed marksman best used at long range.

4. Support – bolster’s the squad’s abilities and hampers enemies.

Something that's new in The Bureau: XCOM Declassified Are backgrounds that give the agent personalitys and act as minor perks to their stats.
For example An Engineer might have the Gunsmith background giving him increased accuracy with weapons! or your Support agent may have studied Pre-Med, allowing him/her to last longer when injured.

You will also be able customise their face and uniform colors.

If you're familiar with the progression system from XCOM: Enemy Unknown, you should feel right at home. Each time you increase a character’s rank, you'll be forced to make a choice from a branching skill tree. Also something new are abilities, Abilities are powers unique to the class that have clear tactical usage on the battlefield. For example, the Engineer’s Mine ability allows them to toss out an explosive that will detonate whenever an enemy walks near, and the Commando’s Pulse Wave will send bogeys flying!.

So with the Game only about two weeks away August 23ed What are you most looking forward too? Let us know below!

Release date for the PS4!? Reed below

Gamescom is now only 9 days away, and as usual big announcements are in-store. Sony in particular takes the show very seriously, and has a history of announcing price drops, new titles, and even new features at the yearly show hosted in Cologne, Germany. It appears this year will be no different.
The Sony XDev Europe account posted the following on Twitter:
Looking forward to Gamescom in 2 weeks and some of the fantastic announcements we have and working with @PlayStationEU @PSAccess
Not long ago Sony revealed the schedule for its press conference at the show and even made it clear that time would be spent showing PS4 games. It isn't certain whether or not new games for the upcoming console will be announced, but rumblings around the internet make it appear that Sony still has plenty of new information announced. At the very least a finalized release date for the PS4 will be revealed.
Outside of next-gen, a PS3 and/or Vita price drop may be the cards. The PS3 still hasn't hit the golden price of $199.99 which could help propel it to the 100 million units sold milestone. There's even a rumor that the PS4 will be bundled with the Vita for $499.99.
Whatever Sony decides to do, it will be official come August 20th.

Square Enix GamesCom 2013 lineup!

Square Enix has discussed their plans for the upcoming GamesCom 2013 convention.

the publisher will be showing off seven games, most of which will be playable at the stage floor. “Final Fantasy XV” and “Kingdom Hearts 3” were also confirmed to appear at the event in a limited capacity.

Naoki Yoshida, the producer and director of “Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn,” will be playing and talking about his upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game at GamesCom 2013. “Murdered: Soul Suspect” and “Thief” are going to be showcased in dedicated theaters while “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII” and “Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster” would also be getting special presentations. “Final Fantasy XV” and “Kingdom Hearts 3” will be a part of trailer reels being played in Square Enix’s stage shows.

Attendees at the convention will be able to play the aforementioned “Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn,” “Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster,” “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII” and “Murdered: Soul Suspect.” They can also try out two more games: “Deus Ex: The Fall” and “Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix.”

New Podcast Up now EP.2

Dead Island: Epidemic Announced

More Dead Island is on the way, but this time the zombies are going free-to-play! and only on PC. Publisher Deep Silver just announced Dead Island: Epidemic, is a online multiplayer battle arena. It's supposed to take place in the "Dead Island universe," so it sounds like Deep Silver has big plans for this franchise. Indeed, the publisher urges us to stay tuned for more on Dead Island in general. For Epidemic, we can expect all the "trademark elements" of the Dead Island experience, which one can assume means fighting zombies in an open world with an emphasis on melee combat and silly weapons like electrocuted machetes. But since this is a multiplayer battle arena, it is unclear whether or not we'll get to play as zombies. Epidemic will be the third Dead Island game, following the original in 2011 and this year's Dead Island: Riptide. Both were released for 360 and PS3 as well as PC. They were developed by Techland, but today's announcement didn't mention who is developing Epidemic. Techland is working on another zombie game called Dying Light for next-gen consoles. Keep on eye on TheGamersTalk For more info on Dead Island: Epidemic and at Gamescom in just a couple weeks

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Origins Teases Giant Robot, New Characters

Treyarch has released a mysterious new video to its YouTube, a teaser video for Call of Duty: Black Ops II Origins. Is it more zombie content? Four unfamiliar faces -- except one who looks a bit like Reznov -- certainly hint at co-op content. Most interesting is the giant mech at the end of the trailer. Take a look: You can see elements of World Wars I and II, with a touch of sci-fi and Mayan-esque ruins. What do you make of this? Black Ops II's Vengenace add-on recently released, which most assumed to be the final bit of Call of Duty content before the next-generation multiplayer reveal of Call of Duty: Ghosts next week

Marvel Studios Has Movies Planned Up to 2021

Marvel Studios is planning for the long haul. How long? Try all the way up to 2021. "I could arguably say what we're planning for the year 2021," Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said in an interview with WIRED. "Will that happen? I don't know. But what we planned for 2015 in 2006 is happening." Two release dates have already been announced for unspecified movies -- one in 2016 and one in 2017 -- and now we can expect even more in the upcoming years. Characters such as Doctor Strange and Black Panther are rumored to have movies in development, but with 50-plus years of comics to fall back on, Marvel could go any direction. "Five years ago, looking at our plan, we knew that if Avengers was going to work, the movies had to stand alone," Feige said. "Now we have to prove to the studio that we're more than just these five characters, these five franchises." With 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy and 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, Marvel Studios will have completed Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They are immediately launching Phase 3 with the long-gestating Ant-Man movie the same year as the Avengers sequel, so if they continue their current pacing, they’ll be in Phase 4 by 2021. What will the MCU look like then? Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man hitting the big screen shows that Marvel Studios is not afraid to take some chances with lesser known properties. Aside from sequels for already established franchises like Iron Man and Captain America, what other characters and teams would you like to see join the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Luke Cage, the Inhumans, or Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel, anyone?

New Borderlands 2 Updates and Hot Fixes!

On twitter today GearBox tweeted that they're working on some new updates for Borderlands 2, but for now they're rolling out some New hot fixes for Borderlands 2 on PC / Mac, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3!
What are "Hot Fixes"? Keep reading to find out.

Borderlands 2 Hot Fixes
August 6, 2013

Further corrected the alignment of holographic sights on pistols.

Summoning Deathtrap with "Sharing is Caring" enabled no longer causes a Turtle shield's health penalties to be applied twice.

Adjusted drop rates of unique items from Doc Mercy, Mad Dog, Savage Lee and McNally to be more consistent across all modes.

A hot fix is automatically applied at the "Press Start" screen when Borderlands 2 is connected to the internet. In general, hot fixes are used to temporarily address issues between major updates. Hot fixes are not permanent -- they are temporarily stored in memory during the game session and lost upon exiting Borderlands 2.

To ensure that you receive hot fixes, make sure that your system is connected to the internet when Borderlands 2 boots up. A hot fix differs from an update in that an update contains changes that are permanently stored on your system and only needs to be downloaded once.

Left 4 Dead 3?! Read Below

In an intriguing turn of events, a leak of Left 4 Dead 3's existence seems to have sprung directly from the source: Valve's Bellevue-based offices. A keen-eyed Dota 2 player, touring the offices as part of The International 3 tournament, took a snap of an internal changelog that apparently lists both Left 4 Dead 3 and Source 2 as current projects. The below photo compliments a similar 'leak' via internal Valve documentation in June, although we have not verified the validity of either.
While co-founder Gabe Newell has been open (but unspecific) about Valve's work on a next-gen game engine, development on Left 4 Dead 3 has yet to be confirmed. For those holding a magnifying glass up to the screen, we'll save you the effort: there's no mention of Half-Life 3.

New Thor: The Dark World trailer

According to the official Thor Facebook page, the sequel's new trailer will premiere exclusively during YouTube Geek Week. Thor: The Dark World opens stateside on November 8.

Call of duty ghost news

Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin has hinted at a new Call of Duty: Ghosts mode called Squads. On Twitter, Rubin posted a short video showing off a Squads menu, including tabs for Options, Online Play and a third option that isn’t visible.

Rubin didn’t provide any other details, but Infinity Ward did confirm last week that Ghosts’ multiplayer reveal is set for August 14th, so expect to find out more info then. Previously, Infinity Ward hinted that Ghosts has some kind of co-op mode, but specifics haven’t been revealed. Infinity Ward included cooperative Spec Ops missions in Modern Warfare 2 and 3, but whether or not that mode will return (or if Squads will replace it) is still unknown.

Nintendo up $4 million

Nintendo’s new StreetPass 3DS games made more than $4 million according to a recent interview between company President Satoru Iwata and Tokyo Keizai Online. The text was translated and posted by Siliconera.

Iwata did not elaborate on the number of downloads per region, but he mentioned that more than 200,000 people bought the paid-for apps since release. The four StreetPass game, released last month in the US, can be purchased individually for $4.99 or as part of a $14.99 bundle. The games also include new hats and Mii outfits for players to unlock.

PS4 and Xbox one release dates in the UK?!

The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will be available in the UK within two weeks of each other, if a set of leaked dates from retailer Toys'R'Us are to be believed.
BT Games reports that the Xbox One will be available in Britain on November 29, while the PlayStation 4 will arrive on December 13.
When Toys'R'Us was contacted for comment about whether these were simply placeholder dates or if they had a factual basis, a spokesperson replied, "I can confirm this information has been given direct from our suppliers and is accurate."
Following this, Microsoft released the following clarification: "We have announced that Xbox One will launch this November, but have not shared any further details. It’s common practice for retailers to use placeholder dates for pre-order items without an official launch date. Please stay tuned to news.xbox.com, where we share the latest official details about all things Xbox One."
So, are these the official launch dates? While it's certainly possible, there's nothing to suggest that suppliers aren't using placeholder dates as well. We know that the Xbox One will be available at some stage in November, and the PlayStation 4 before the end of the year. Seeing as there have been mutterings already this year that the PlayStation 4 will arrive in November, it's impossible to discern which dates are accurate and which aren't.
Until Sony and Microsoft come out and say something official, we're going to have to make do with speculation. With Gamescom coming later this month though, there's every chance that we may hear something concrete soon.

Legend of Zelda Movie?

Nintendo has yet to bring its iconic Legend of Zelda franchise to the big screen, but that's not to say studios have not pitched the company on the idea. Superannuation (via Kotaku) recently discovered a 2007 CGI Legend of Zelda movie pitch from Imagi Animation Studios. The short clip features Disney-style depictions of heroes Link and Zelda, as well as the nefarious Ganondorf and his minions. Check out the full clip below. Imagi Animation Studios was also behind the 2007 CGI movie TMNT and 2009's Astro Boy. The company's American office, creator of the Zelda clip, has since closed. The next Legend of Zelda game is this October's The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for the Wii U. In addition, an all-new Zelda game for the Wii U, said to "rethink conventions" of the series, is in development. So what do you guy's think? Would you want a Zelda movie?

Batman: Arkham Origins Beta Invites Going Out

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has begun inviting Batman fans to sign up for a beta test of Batman: Arkham Origins' recently announced multiplayer mode. Invites to register for the open beta began being sent out by email earlier this week. Those who qualify are being admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. When registering, an option for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the beta are offered. The PC version is left out of the beta, at least for the time being, as is Wii U, which will not be seeing multiplayer in the final game due to a desire to focus "on platforms with the largest multiplayer audience." The 360 and PS3 beta is scheduled to begin on August 7 and will run through August 14 Details on Origins' multiplayer were first revealed earlier this week. Being developed by Splash Damage (of Brink and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars fame), it will pit three teams against each other in the new Invisible Predator Online mode's 2 vs. 3 vs. 3 matches. The team of two consists of Batman and Robin, while each team of three is comprised of thugs who pledge allegiance to either Bane or Joker. Batman: Arkham Origins will be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U on October 25.

Microsoft glasses?!

Microsoft may have plans to release a head-mounted display device in the future, if a newly filed patent is any indication. The device comes in the form of glasses and may be equipped with things like a microphone, an eye-tracking system, a depth camera, and a camera capable of recognizing the faces of other players. The patent describes it as being intended for multiplayer gaming applications, such as being able to use a voice commands or eye-tracking data to send a game invitation to another player, who could then use his or her glasses to respond. Limiting a device like this to sending game invites might seem like a very narrow use of such a thing. While that is the sort of functionality the patent primarily describes, it notes that this is not the extent of what Microsoft may use it for.
One section of the patent refers to users interacting with the device through gestures, which could in theory then be passed on to the game you're playing as a method of input. Or, more mundanely, it could be used as the patent describes in order to allow a nod to accept an invitation sent by another player. Some sections talk about allowing players to designate which players will be on what teams through voice commands. Others refer to the different applications for the transparent display situated in front of users' eyes. As with all patents, it's unclear whether Microsoft actually has any definitive plans for this device. It bears noting that a document leaked last year allegedly detailing Microsoft's plans for what we now know is the Xbox One included mentions of Fortaleza Glasses that could be what's seen in this patent. Those included support for Wi-Fi, 4G, and augmented reality features, and could be used both with the Xbox One and, more notably, away from it, almost like Google Glass. The document, which reportedly dated back to August 2010, mentioned a 2014 launch for the glasses, suggesting the lack of any official word on them to date may be part of Microsoft's plans to roll them out sometime next year. That is, of course, assuming the document was entirely legitimate and that this new patent is not for one of the countless devices we'll never see.
What do you think of the possibility of AR glasses that could be used with and without the Xbox One? Do you see any possible uses for such a thing that would interest you? Let us know in the comments.

The New Order has been delayed to 2014

Wolfenstein: The New Order has been delayed to 2014 on all platforms. The news comes from QuakeCon today, because, according to Bethesda VP of PR and marketing Pete Hines on Twitter, the team “felt it deserved some additional time for polish.” The New Order was previously scheduled to hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year.

Ubisoft new franchise

Ubisoft is teasing the reveal of a new franchise at Gamescom next month. In an announcement of its Gamescom lineup today, Ubisoft said it will “share details on a new next-gen IP currently in development during the show,” though no other details were provided. The tease may be referring to Child of Light, the new game from Far Cry 3 creative director Patrick Plourde that Ubisoft previously said will be revealed at GDC Europe (which takes place in the days leading up to Gamescom). Gamescom will run from August 21-25 in Cologne, Germany. Ubisoft’s lineup will also include Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Watch Dogs, The Crew, Rayman Legends and Splinter Cell Blacklist. What do you think the new IP is?!

Tomb Raider sequel

Square Enix has confirmed it is working on a Tomb Raider sequel for the next generation of consoles. In an open letter, the company's Western CEO Phil Rogers confirmed that a sequel has been in development for some time. "I am also excited to reveal that we are well into development on a next-generation
– something you may have heard about recently," he wrote. A sequel was pretty much guaranteed considering the game's success. We heard at Comic-Con this year that Dark Horse comics were producing a series set after the conclusion of the first game and designed to lead into the eventual follow-up. Still, it's good to know for certain that the game is in development, that it's making good progress, and that it'll be on next-gen consoles everywhere. Be sure to let us know what you'd like to see in a sequel in the comments.
